From the 20^th of December the Richter atelier at het Juttersplein will exhibit the works of

Two young artists, Wayan Putarna en Djawi, from the Sun kissed island of Bali.  

Djawi has made his name in both Indonesia as well as outside of it and with his ‘own’ abstract/ figurative style his work is appreciated worldwide. Reoccurring themes are ‘the city’, ‘happiness’ and ‘estrangement’. With his use of space and the use of many colours and reoccurring symbols he makes sure that there is and remains a lot to discover.

Wayan Purnata studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Denpasar (Bali) in 1997 and he has found himself completely connected with the abstract style. He is inspired by dreams, imagination and mundane situations and has developed an amazing way of using light and movement within his work. He has exhibited his work amongst others in: Paris, Strasbourg, Nice, Montreal and Singapore. At the opening both artists shall be represented by Arjen Vonk “ambassador of the “Lion king foundation” to which the total proceeds will be donated.

The Richter “Werkatelier” cordially invites you to be present at the opening of the exhibit on Saturday the 20^th of December from 16.00 hours at het Jutterspleintje 2 in Den Helder.

This work will be displayed in the atelier until the end of January.

Especially if your photo has not been chosen to be in the book with the final selection of the hundred.
