Five young Romanians artists exhibit together in werkatelier SK on 19th April at 16:00 hours. Each artist has/her own specialized and unique individual input. The Romanian artists are all based in Bucharest and mainly focuses and occupies itself with imagery, texts and their group synergy. Boundary crossing theme’s as a reaction on their surroundings enjoy their preference and connect with one of the collectives main goals to inspire people to think and titillate.

Richter foundation is organising from 31 may till 07 June 2008 the training “Youth project managements : a tool for Social Integration” in Minsk, Belarus. With this training we want to give an opportunities to NGO from Europe and from the former Soviet republics to share their experiences and gain knowledge about youth projects management as well as to establish new contacts and develop commonproject ideas in the field of the new program Youth in Action.  The main objectives are:

The first part of the training is to give opportunities to the applicants to share their experiences gain knowledge about youth project management. Together we will find tools that helps the involvement local and regional to develop themselves in organizing youth exchanges and to make EVS to take part in the activity. 

The second part is to clarify the use of theatre as a tool for establishing social integration. The training will help the applicants and their organizations to improve their skills and to enhance their knowledge of the theme.  The third part is to meet local NGO during a study visit in the region. With meeting local youth workers and local NGO in there own environment we want to give the opportunity to establish -in a direct and personal way- a working relationship.

A total of 22 European applicants are taking part in the training. The applicants are coming from Germany, Georgia, Armenia, Portugal, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Spain, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Russia, Italy, Slovakia, Sweden and Belarus. Richter werkatelier proudly present the work of the Macedonian photographer and artist Atanas Tavelski.

The opening of this exposition will be hold on Saturday 8 of March at 16.00 hours. Subjects in Tavelski photo’s seems maybe simple, however the pictures are not manipulated, they are just real life coincident. And once you get in touch with his work you become like a magnet, you get attracted and also there is a distance. The image from Atanas Tavelski (1954) intrigue the viewer. It shows the coincidental hard side of life, with a critical look, with a necessary humor and self reflection. Because of the bright lightening his work looks so in a lifelike way. But the truth is different. The viewer can feel it and that’s what the artist want.

From 10 till 18 of March 5 youngsters from Richter will travel to Lithuania to participate in a youth exchange called –I’m the part of Europe, I’m the part of the World!– The main aim of this project is to help young European citizen to understand themselves like a part of Europe and also like a part of the World, to find differences and similarities between different cultures. An othe rimportan aim is motivated young people and who are ready and able to change something in the society. Tool for the different topics are creativity, outdoor methodic, individual exercises, team games, discussions, learning by doing.  Important is also that the youngsters just have a great time. The Dutch Richter group will meet others youngsters from Romania, Italy, latvia and Lithania. After the exchange we will provide you with an update photo report.
