The opening of this exposition will be hold on Saturday 8 of March at 16.00 hours. Subjects in Tavelski photo’s seems maybe simple, however the pictures are not manipulated, they are just real life coincident. And once you get in touch with his work you become like a magnet, you get attracted and also there is a distance. The image from Atanas Tavelski (1954) intrigue the viewer. It shows the coincidental hard side of life, with a critical look, with a necessary humor and self reflection. Because of the bright lightening his work looks so in a lifelike way. But the truth is different. The viewer can feel it and that’s what the artist want.

The international art world also discovered his work. From Paris, Moscow, New Mexico till New York where he exposed for the last few years. It’s for the first time that Atanas Tavelski will expose in the Netherlands and the foundation Richter is very delightful to have the scoop. For the culture and emotional relationship between the both countries to confirm, the artist has selected 50 photo’s from the period 1997-2007 that will be showed at the werkatelier.

The opening of the exposition starts on Saturday 8 march at 16.00 pm in presence of the artist disclose by the ambassador from Macedonia.
