CU in 10 years...2009

CU in 10 years is an attempt to establish and stimulate a dialogue between youths and established policy makers and to give the youths the opportunity to enter into a conversation and to come to a democratic solution on a European level. Some research has shown that youths would like to be involved in the process of democratic decision-making. On the other hand there is some suspicion towards the government and policy makers. Europe Goes Green in August (11th- 21st of August)

The aim of the project is to circulate the idea of green thinking, globalization and sustainable lifestyles. The participants will get deeper knowledge about what are the benefits of reuse and consuming organic products by sharing their experiences. Throughout practical workshops (multimedia, art, living library, forum-theatre, reuse, music and voluntary work) and discussion groups where we would like to create a common understanding about global issues in general and invite participants for intercultural dialogue during the whole exchange project.

Paul van Twist 2009

From June the 20th june till the 25th of July 2009 Werkatelier Richter? at Juttersplein 2a in Den Helder will show the work of artist Paul van Twist, whom before he became an artist was working as an inventor as the head of an innovative team at Philips in Eindhoven. Now according to traditional ways he creates unique machines under the well chosen company name of Moving Machines.

Rosine And Maria

From 23 till 30 October 2007, two Richter Volunteers (Rosine and Maria) participated in an international training in Poland. They came back with a lot of new ideas and with some pictures that you are about to see. It's only the proof that they went there but it shows mainly the fun they had.
